However, the rough wood furniture, paint tracks on the carpet, and moisture smell made it less pleasant. The hotel is conveniently located close to famous Jonker Walk and a short walk to Red House and Jonker Street. The service was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff welcoming my husband and me on arrival. However, the dining experience was disappointing, and the lack of nearby restaurants was a downside. The rooms, although boasting modern technology, had a strong cigarette smoke odor upon check-in.
